Our Health Guarantee

We assure you that our puppies are in perfect health condition at the time of sale, with no signs of disease or parasites. Our guarantee includes the absence of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections, and congenital defects in our puppies.

Guarantee

The puppy’s health is ensured through examination by a veterinarian who is CERTIFIED, at the discretion and expense of the buyer. If the puppy is found to be in unsatisfactory health and written documentation from a licensed, CERTIFIED veterinarian is presented, the buyer must immediately return the puppy to the breeder and receive a full refund of the purchase price of the puppy. The documentation must include the band number and breed of the puppy. The breeder will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by the buyer during this time or for costs to return the puppy to the breeder.

In the unlikely event of the puppy’s death within twelve (12) days of the buyer taking possession, the buyer must wrap the puppy in paper towels, place it in a plastic bag, and refrigerate it (not freeze it) until a necropsy can be performed by a qualified, licensed veterinarian within seventy-two hours after death. All reports must be sent to our veterinarian and include the band number and breed of the puppy. If the necropsy proves beyond doubt that the death occurred due to problems originating prior to the sale, a replacement puppy will be offered from the next available clutch of the original species. The cost of the necropsy will be provided to the buyer. The breeder will not be responsible for any other expenses and takes no responsibility for problems occurring in other puppies.

Breeder Health Guarantee

All puppies are accompanied by a comprehensive one-year health guarantee. In the unlikely event that a puppy is found to be unhealthy at the time of sale, we offer two options: either a replacement puppy or a full refund of the purchase price. To qualify for this guarantee, your veterinarian must conduct a health examination within 72 hours of purchase. If during this examination, a health issue is discovered that is either too costly to treat or incurable, we will provide a replacement puppy of the same kind or value, or repurchase the puppy from you. In order to proceed with this, you will need to return the puppy to us along with a letter from your vet explaining the nature of the illness. This letter must be on the official letter pad of the veterinarian and include their rubber stamp seal. Upon receipt of the puppy and the vet’s letter, we will either replace the puppy or issue a full refund.

In the unfortunate event that the puppy passes away within 72 hours of purchase, it is important to take immediate action. You should refrigerate the puppy’s body in a sealed plastic bag (not freeze it) and deliver it to a qualified vet within 12 hours for a necropsy to determine the cause of death. If the necropsy reveals that the cause of death was a viral disease or a congenital hatch defect, we will offer either a replacement puppy or a full refund of the purchase price. Again, the vet’s letter must be on their official letter pad and include their rubber stamp seal. Additionally, before any refund is issued, we will require photos and videos of the deceased puppy, including the identification band.

Please note that any veterinary medical bills, including those for a necropsy, as well as any shipping charges, are the sole responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded by the seller. It is also important to understand that removing the leg band from the puppy will render the Health Guarantee null and void. If the leg band is removed, the veterinarian must reference the band number and provide a valid reason for its removal when explaining any disease or cause of death.
